Job Description:

Who Are They?

Our client was founded in 2015 by Europe's leading manufacturer of light vehicles, whose portfolio includes a number of iconic Italian brands. Their mission is to revolutionize how people and goods are moved around 21st century cities by designing, developing, and manufacturing new kinds of vehicles. They focus on products whose scale is larger than an aerial drone but smaller than a car or truck. Their motto is autonomy for humans which means autonomy in the service of human freedom, pleasure and efficiency of movement.

The organization's first product was launched in February, 2017. It is a robotic cargo vehicle that can follow a human operator, move autonomously, or travel in convoys, mapping the environment as it travels. It can carry up to 44 pounds and move from a slaw walking pace to a fast sprint. With it's bicycle-sized wheels, it has a zero turning radius and can operate with ease on both regular and irregular surfaces, indoors and outdoors, on sidewalks, streets, and up and down ADA-compliant ramps. It was not designed to solve a small problem, but rather as an open platform for movability that has a wide variety of potential market applications such as a robotic butler, delivery bot, running companion that holds a change of clothes, walker for the elderly, and more. It has been featured in the WSJ, Techcrunch, Wired, CNN, and The Today Show, and Forrester Research said that it will "change the way people work."

The organization asks what is most important to their employees and they deliver - free lunches and snacks, unlimited PTO, 100% medical/dental coverage, 401k plans, commuter benefits, and more! They're dog friendly, love to BBQ and have monthly company outings, everything form Celtics games and pumpkin carving to sailing and karaoke. But their best perk is their amazing people. From former professional motorcycle racers to people who have traveled to 100+ countries, they hire interesting, talented, creative people who think outside the box and are not afraid to push the envelope on what seems possible. They move fast and get stuff done. They're outgoing, learn from each other, are strong communications, set clear expectations, listen, create for the long-term and are purposeful in everything they build. They strongly consider talent and fit as it's their people who shape everything they do. Apply today and help us redefine the future of transportation!
