Job Description:


The Post-Trade and Markets Technology team at our client is responsible for the core applications and services supporting both asset management and market making; up to 40% of all North American trades on any given day are routed through this group's systems.

Applications span market connectivity, real-time market & firm-wide execution data, investor & fund accounting, trade management, clearing & settlement, rec & control, OTC products, cash management, treasury, margin, market surveillance and other legal & compliance business functions, systems cover every asset class, support all transaction types and are utilized by every trading desk at our client.

The global scale, volume and mission criticality of applications and services require our teams to tackle unique and challenging problems.

The UX team is spread out across Chicago, Dallas, New York, London and India.

Special Qualification

5+ years of hands-on UI/UX Development experience.

General Job Responsibilities:

Work with a team of developers supporting our newly created back office UX team within Citadel.

  • Guide the User Experience process; work with developers to design/implement reports and tools
  • Coordinating and communicating specific subject matter knowledge to the design and integration phase of each project
  • Advising on the appropriate architecture, data model, and system design and interfacing requirements for each project
  • Liaising with internal customers to capture requirements and architect solutions


Minimum Requirements:

·         Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

·         B.S. degree

·         5+ years of experience working with modern UI and UX web programming tools:
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

·         Experience in developing application front-end enterprise-wide GUIs

·         Strong critical reasoning and visual design skills

·         Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

·         Ability to engage with business

·         Can work in a group environment.

·         React and/or Angular2+
