Job Description
The Captiva Software Development Advisor will support Captiva and .NET/C# technologies. The primary responsibilities are the development within the Captiva product space. This includes new development, tuning of existing solutions, break-fix and Subject Matter Expertise for Production support issues. The focus is on imaging technologies, including: image capture, classification, recognition, extraction and export of data. 

You will serve as a .NET Application Developer when demand is needed. The Captiva Software Development Advisor is responsible for providing development, architecture and best practice for the Mail Order .NET applications. You will also be responsible for all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

The candidate must possess good organization and documentation skills. Must be able to work independently, prioritize work, and be a self-starter. Must also demonstrate good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 

Roles Engaged In By the Incumbent: 
Technical Leader of a project, designing the solution, decomposing the solution into workable assignments, coding functions, coordinating software developers, performing code reviews, and assisting with deployment. When acting as an Enterprise Technical Lead you will be responsible for the application design, coding, and unit testing of a development team.

By acting as a Project Owner for medium sized project initiatives, you will be accountable for the overall delivery of the project objectives which will require coordination of the Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts and inter-departmental development teams. You will also be the technical Functional Owner of two or more application domains within the department. As a member of a department with business focused function you will analyze application performance and make process efficiency recommendations for the system overall. 

Additional responsibilities of the Lead Developer include: 
Acting as the technical lead for an application within the scope of a development project. Promoting and championing enterprise-wide architectural standards and improving current system architectural design documents. Developing, testing, and refining the development frameworks while identifying and researching new technology products and trends. Maintaining system designs and awareness of enterprise technology standards. Coordinating with other application leads on timelines, issues, and integrated technical solutions. Collaborating with project team members to motivate the completion of a project objective. Evaluating the impact of changes on application performance and platform capacity Evaluating the supportability of the application or change (e.g. monitoring, maintenance, etc.)

Required Qualifications
5 or more years of overall experience in IT including the following:
3 or more years of experience developing and administering Captiva InputAccel Version 6.5 or higher.
3 or more years of experience developing and administering Dispatcher InputAccel Version 6.5 or higher. 
3 or more years of experience with Capture Flow Designer. 
2 or more years' experience with a code repository/build automation tools (e.g TFS, Dimensions, Jenkins, CVS.)
2 or more years' experience with Database tools (e.g SQL Server, Maria DB, Oracle, UDB.) 
2 or more years' experience of IIS site deployment, HTTP / SSL server technologies. 
Experience with onsite and offshore working model. 
Configure & troubleshoot issues.

Preferred Qualifications
Captiva product migration experience 
Captiva production support experience 
Experience configuring and utilizing Reveille monitoring software 
3 or more years of experience working with C# .NET 
5 years of Microsoft related development 
5 years of Microsoft related development required 
5 years of consulting skills and project lead experience 
5 years expertise in C# and ASP.NET 
5 years of SQL and a data transfer products (SSIS or similar product) 
5 years of advanced knowledge of Windows Server, IIS and TCP/IP networks, Entity Framework and MVC 
Working knowledge of DB2 and/or SQL databases, AngjularJS, JQuery, Bootstrap and IIS7 is a plus 
Experience working with co-located teams 
Experience providing effective solutions based on subject matter expertise 
Experience in leading technical aspects of a project effectively 
Experience managing customer requirements or demands 
Healthcare and/or PBM experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Will accept one year of experience for each year college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
